Mountain Views
My husband and I took a nice day trip yesterday to see the fall leaves in the mountains. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day in the North Carolina mountains. Just perfect for seeing the leaves. It's nice to have a day away now and again, isn't it? I thought I'd share a few pictures I took during our ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hope you all enjoy them.

I want to go there!!!! I remember last fall, my fiance Gary and I went up to Kentucky for a weekend and it was absolutely glorious. The fall colors and the crispness in the air...that is why fall is my favorite time of year. We stayed at a little lodge on a lake and since the tourist season was over, there were only a few hunters there with us. When we get married next October, that's where we plan on going for our honeymoon - just a quiet long weekend in the country.
